Markers? Wow, that doesn't look like markers...but what do I know.

I was sure this was a photo, until I read your description and then looked more closely. Extremely impressive.
I really like the face, the hair, the shades with the reflections, the shine on the edge of the shades' frame.
The upper lip looks a bit strange, though.: a solid line with a lighter area along it, above. That's the only part which seems to need improvement.

I like her earlobes, too.

thanx for the comments. yeah, i posted this piece here before & it's over at artuproar too. it was a piece done in school to learn how to use markers & use the girl from an old rebok ad as a reference. took forever. thanx again. check ya later!

What kind of paper did you use for this? It would seem like you have to use markers in layers, like watercolors.. it also looked like a photo to me... had to see it up close 8) (Cool)
